About KUBO Paper

A paper packaging and printing factory in Guangzhou, China, founded in 2012 — producing folding cartons, rigid gift boxes, paper bags and printed materials for brands in Europe, North America and Australia, from 500 pieces.

What we manufacture

KUBO Paper runs four product lines on the same production floor in Guangzhou, which is why a colour box, its rigid outer gift box and the paper bag that carries it can share one material spec, one colour target and one shipment.

Colour & rigid boxesFolding cartons and luxury rigid boxes — matte/gloss lamination, hot foil, spot UV, embossing.
Paper bagsKraft and art-paper shoppers with twisted-paper, ribbon or die-cut handles; food-grade options.
Printed materialsCatalogs, manuals, hang tags and inserts — offset printing with saddle-stitch or perfect binding.
Custom & ODMStructural design, dielines, white samples and small-batch production from 500 pcs.

How a job moves through the factory

  1. Inquiry — you send size, material, finish, quantity and reference photos; we reply within 24 hours.
  2. Quotation — a line-by-line quote with material options and EXW / FOB / DDP terms, so you can compare like for like.
  3. Sampling — a physical sample in 7–10 days; structural or colour revisions are made until it is right.
  4. Production — prepress, offset printing, lamination, die-cutting and gluing in-house, with inline QC at each step.
  5. Shipping — export cartons, palletisation and documents handled by our export team.

Standards we work to

Packaging that crosses a border has to satisfy someone else's rulebook. These are the ones we are asked about most often, and the ones that shape how we specify board, ink and testing:

Who writes and answers here

Every guide published on the KUBO Paper blog is written from quoting and production experience: which material actually holds a foil edge, where a dieline wastes board, what a 500-piece run really costs. If a number in an article does not match what you were quoted elsewhere, ask — we will show the cost breakdown rather than argue about it.

“By 31 December 2030, a minimum of 70% of all packaging waste should be recycled.”
