Free dielines and 3D mockups so you can see it before you commit.
Paper is 41% of EU packaging waste — and the easiest stream to get right
Paper and board is the largest single packaging material stream in Europe. That is why board weight, ink choice and recyclability are now procurement decisions, not just design preferences — and why we specify them with the buyer rather than for them.
“In 2024, 81.5 million tonnes of packaging waste were generated in the EU. This corresponded to 181.0 kg per inhabitant… 67.0% of packaging waste generated in the EU was recycled in 2024.”
Paper packaging, answered directly
The seven questions that come up in almost every first inquiry — MOQ, timing, colour matching, shipping terms and materials.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom packaging?
Rigid boxes and paper bags start at 500 pieces; folding cartons start at 1,000 pieces. Below that, plate and die setup dominates the unit price, so the per-box cost stops making sense. Different structures from the same factory can be combined into one production run to reach the minimum.
How long does sampling and production take?
A physical sample takes 5 to 10 days depending on structure and finishing. Production runs 15 to 22 days after sample approval, with the exact date confirmed on the proforma invoice. Transit time is quoted separately for sea, air or express.
Can you match a Pantone colour or an existing sample?
Yes. We print CMYK plus Pantone spot colours and match against a physical proof rather than a screen. Send a physical sample or the Pantone reference; for brand-critical colours a colour drawdown is sent before production starts.
Do you ship to the EU and US, and who handles customs?
We quote EXW, FOB or DDP. On DDP terms we arrange freight and import clearance to your door; on FOB your forwarder takes over at the port. HS codes and export documents are prepared by our export team in either case.
Are FSC-certified or recycled materials available?
Yes. FSC-certified board and paper are available with chain-of-custody documents supplied per order, alongside recycled and alternative-fibre stocks. Specify it in the inquiry, because it affects both cost and lead time.
Can you make food-safe packaging?
Yes. We use food-grade board with low-migration inks for bakery, confectionery, tea and coffee packaging. For direct food contact we supply the material declarations the regulation in your market requires.
How do I get a quote, and what should I include?
Send the box style, internal dimensions, board or paper, print colours, finishing, quantity and destination country through the contact form or by email. A photo of a box you like is often faster than a written specification.
